Terms & Conditions — Inner City Tabernacle

Sections 1–7 apply to everyone who uses this website. Section 8 is the End User Agreement and applies to anyone given a sign-in account — pastors, board members, staff and ministry leaders.

1. Agreement to these terms

By using this website, or by signing in to the church management system, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. What this is

This website and system are provided by Inner City Tabernacle (“ICT”, “we”, “us”), a local church in Suva, Fiji, affiliated with the Assemblies of God of Fiji. They exist to serve the life and ministry of the church — to welcome people, care for our members, and keep faithful records.

3. Using the public website

You are welcome to browse, and to use the forms provided to plan a visit, register interest in a gathering, or contact a ministry. When you submit a form:

Please give accurate information, and only your own — or that of someone who has asked you to
Do not submit anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or offensive
Do not use the forms to send advertising or bulk messages

4. Giving and financial information

Any figures shown on this site or in the system are for church administration and reporting. They are not a substitute for our formal audited accounts. If you believe a record of your giving is wrong, please contact the church office and we will check it.

5. Our use of artificial intelligence

We use an AI assistant (“Timothy”) to help draft and summarise written material. Everything it produces is a draft that a person reviews and approves before it is saved, published or sent. No decision about any person is made by the AI. See section 7 of our Privacy Policy for detail.

6. Content, photographs and copyright

The text, images and design of this site belong to ICT or are used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without our agreement. Photographs of church life are published to tell the story of our church family — if you would prefer not to appear, tell us (see our Privacy Policy, section 12).

7. Availability, and the limits of what we promise

We work to keep the site and system running and accurate, but we provide them “as they are”. We do not promise they will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, or from any interruption to it. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. End User Agreement — for staff, board members and ministry leaders

This section applies to you if you have been given an account. The information you can see belongs to real people who trusted the church with it. By using your account you agree to the following.

8.1 Your account

Accounts are approved by the church. Use only the account issued to you
Never share your password, and never let someone else use your account
Choose a strong password and change it immediately if you think it may be known to anyone else
Sign out on shared or public devices
Tell the church office at once if you suspect your account has been misused

8.2 Confidentiality — the heart of this agreement

Treat everything you see — members' contact details, pastoral notes, giving, board papers — as confidential
Access it only where you need it for your role in the church. Do not look up people out of curiosity
Do not copy, download, photograph, forward or share member information outside the church, including in personal chats or on social media
Do not use member contact details for anything other than church ministry — never for personal, political or commercial purposes
These obligations continue after you stop serving in your role

8.3 Children and young people

Take particular care with any information about children, including registers, attendance and photographs
Follow the church's child-safety expectations at all times
Do not publish or share a child's image or details without the consent of a parent or guardian

8.4 Using the system honestly

Enter accurate information — reports, attendance, expenses and receipts must reflect what actually happened
Do not attempt to access areas or records outside your role, or to bypass any restriction
Do not upload anything harmful, unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights
Remember that significant actions are logged for accountability
Where the AI assistant drafts something for you, you remain responsible for checking it before it is saved, published or sent

8.5 If this agreement is broken

We may suspend or withdraw an account where this agreement is not kept. Serious breaches — particularly misuse of members' personal information or of information about children — may also be a matter for church discipline, and where the law requires it, for the authorities.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and where the change is significant we will let account holders know.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Fiji, and the courts of Fiji have jurisdiction.
